How to Run a More Agile Business
An agile business is a company that’s able to adapt to challenges and changes, no matter what they are or where they come from. There’s a focus on flexibility and the ability to make quick decisions as and when they’re needed.

Fostering an agile atmosphere in the workplace often comes down to leadership. Poor leadership can result in a sluggish, rigid workflow. Micro-management can make employees feel stifled and they’re unable to work productively, while being way too relaxed can cause employees to feel abandoned and, if things do go wrong, you might not find out about it until it’s too late.
A good leader can adapt to the team they have. This means that if someone gets sick, other employees can reasonably cover. It also means that you as a leader understand the right leadership style for your employees and the projects at hand. Sometimes it’s better to be more hands-on and involved, as long as you still give your employees breathing room.
At other times, you might want a more independent team that can handle minor issues without intervention. However, you should still know about potential issues that crop up as soon as possible, so keep the lines of communication open.
Intelligent Logistics
One important way to allow your company to be more flexible and agile is to develop a robust logistics system. This includes making sure that supply and demand needs are met, and that you have some stock in storage that you can move as and when it’s needed.
The more efficient your logistics system is, the better it can deal with hiccups.
