Functional Tools at Your Fingertips

Another day, another list of tools that is out there on the big world wide web. What can I say. There are just so many things that could make our lives easier, more productive, and help us all work efficiently, mostly from the comfort from home offices.

As in the book Atomic habits by James Clear – the path of least resistance is the best way to make a good habit. Anything that requires anyone to exert so much energy is pretty much a waste of time. On the other hand, anything that lets anyone do something with the least amount of effort, the least amount of resistance, gives us more motivation to accomplish our goals.

Bottomline, if we have the right tools and the right equipment to help us accomplish our tasks and goals, why not take advantage of it – to be more efficient and more productive to help us be Productive and Free.

Here’s a few more tools we’ve been introduced too that could help with all that.

Looka.com

Looka is a website that will help you create a logo for your business with a few clicks of your mouse. It’s really easy and cool if I say so myself. You don’t need to sign up for anything to try it out. It would definitely help you in generating a logo for your business that is unique and personal to you.

First, they let you choose from sample logos, then colors you like, symbols that reflect who you are or what you represent. When they generate a logo, and you find something you like, that’s when the branding begins. Try it out and see for yourself.

After all that fun you’ve done, the site helps you order all the marketing materials you need from social media profiles, email signatures, website heading to business cards, shirts, posters, flyers, brochures, cards, etc. They will even give you your color palette so you can either change it later or keep them and use them in the future. It really is a very helpful site, and fun if you ask me, to start building your brand.

Everytimezone.com

Ever caught yourself wondering what time it is at the other end of the world? I’m from Los Angeles and tend to check what time it is in Hawaii, New York, London, and Japan. When we have Daylight Sayings Time, it gets more confusing, and I can never get the time right. Figuring out the time between two or more countries is worse. Like trying to figure out the time between Japan and London, forget it. Until I learned about Everytimezone.com.

This website is amazing. You can compare all time zones at the same time if that is what you need. Or you can compare the time zones you only need [like above].

Now this app is really made for teams that work across multiple time zones so the entire team or team leader can easily manage work times seamlessly around everyone’s schedules. If the team leader also needs to schedule a meeting, then it is much easier to find a suitable time when everyone is awake and at work. This would be much easier when you could visibly see the different time zones in one screen than counting it or estimating it in your head, isn’t it?

Didn’t it say this website is amazing?

How about looking at listings and info about the real estate broker and the house can be found via a QR code? How about seeing a commercial and it says for more information scan the QR code? Did you suddenly realize that QR codes are all around you? Well, it’s true. It has quadrupled in 2022 and it’s here to stay. It has multiple uses from exposure to marketing, to networking and relationship building, to data analyzing and tracking. It has so much uses that if you can imagine it, what you can do is limitless. Not is it only for the young and tech savvy, but even the more wise and mature generation are getting on the band wagon. Can you believe it?

When my son was fundraising one weekend, an older gentleman paid with his watch and luckily we just acquired ourselves a wireless payment system. Earlier that day, another adult consumer paid via scanning our QR code to pay via Zelle. It really is just a new way to do things. Very convenient too.

This is where Beaconstac.com comes in. They can help you create QR codes. They also offer so many educational blogs to help you understand and learn how to create various QR codes that is beneficial for your needs.

First thing you need to know is that, there are two types of QR codes that we can start with the static type which once created, cannot changed and edited; and there’s the dynamic type which offers flexibility to be edited, tracked, analyzed, and customized. These are the first and main considerations to know when you want to create your QR code. What will you use it for? Do you need to change the link or destination on the QR code? Would you want to track the number of sales, or scans that your QR has brought you? All those are factors in creating one.

So, if you get ready to start using QR codes Beaconstac.com will help you with all that.

Proofhub.com

ProofHub is an all-in-one project management and team collaboration tool. Because of its user-friendly interface and comprehensive features, ProofHub is one of the most sought-after project management tools.

The standout feature of ProofHub is the centralized workspace that integrates complete project management. Therefore, you do not have to switch between multiple apps. With a simple workflow for planning, organizing, and executing projects, the overall productivity of the team also increases.

Time tracking and reporting functionalities are the twin highlights that separate ProofHub from the crowd. When you have control over the time spent on various tasks, you can forecast effectively. The robust collaboration tools help your team members to work together as a single unit. They can discuss, share ideas, store and organize files, comment, as well as chat on the built-in platform. This improves the overall efficiency of the team and fosters effective team bonding.

The icing on the cake comes in the form of ‘flat pricing’. The essential plan costs $45 per month (billed annually). You can add as many users as you want in this plan. This is best suited for medium, large as well as enterprise teams.

Creately.com

When you google Creately you immediately see Workflows That Work For You and you start to wonder what is that. First of all, what are workflows? It is described as a sequence or system of processes that certain tasks passes through from initiation to completion in a particular order. In order words, certain steps need to be done, sometimes in order, to complete a task.

When teams need to plan for any type of project, may it be for marketing, sales, software, HR, IT, product, Creately have visual workflows that each team can use to plan, process, collaborate, and execute each project that needs to be done.

Thing is, I really am not doing Creately any justice by just describing them here. You need to see their full potential by visiting the site and looking at what they offer. I love that they have so many sample templates for workflow charts, org charts, planning charts, SWOT analysis, Venn diagrams, so much charts and templates.

What drew me to them was their page on visualizing to-do list and I was just hooked. I was just playing, yes playing, [when it comes to templates I play, its not work, its play] I was playing around with the different sample templates they had – the Eisenhower matrix, the planners, the Kanban board, the SMART goal setting template – it’s like Disneyland or Ikea for me. I was just hooked. So here I am sharing it to you all. It really is just amazing. I know we have templates too – you can go to our members area and sign up to get the free templates or check out our shop to see what we have to offer – but when you see amazing things like these, even when they’re our competitor, you need to share it. It’s just really wonderful.
